From the supplier: German supermarket chain Rewe installed an air curtain access at its cold storage warehouse to improve energy consumption and the safety of employees. An open door maximized cooling capacity, decreased icing and improved work conditions. Transportation of frozen goods also became more efficient due to the unobstructed view to the warehouse. Temperature maintenance addressed concerns regarding the hygienic handling of refrigerated food, mainly the weak link in the distribution chain.
