I just purchased this on a whim and after an easy set-up, impressed the heck out of me! Have you ever wondered why other manufacturers come up with a cumbersome design and charge for that extra square inch just to clog up your cabinet? This Ultra-Compact DVD Player takes up NO space at all! Okay, it's an exaggeration, but you get the point. I believe the footprint on this DVD player is only at an amazing 6"x5"! I have extra space now for other electronic toys in my cabinet and the wife just added a flower pot and a family picture on that same space that my old Sony occupied. For the price, it's all about functionality & its compactness.
